Meet Ryne

Welcome. It takes courage to seek support, and I'm honored you're considering taking this step. I'm here to offer compassionate guidance as you navigate life's challenges and discover your path towards healing and growth.

About Ryne

Ryne Evans is a compassionate and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who provides affirming, inclusive care for queer and LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and those navigating polyamory or non-monogamy. He specializes in couples therapy, family therapy, adolescent therapy (ages 13+), mood disorders, and trauma, with a strong focus on healing childhood trauma.

Ryne earned his Master of Arts in Counseling from National University in 2019 and blends multiple therapeutic approaches to best meet his clients' unique needs. He draws from psychodynamic therapy to explore how past experiences and early relationships shape current behaviors, fostering a deeper understanding of self. His use of Schema Therapy helps clients identify and challenge core beliefs formed in childhood, breaking negative patterns that affect self-worth and relationships. This approach is especially beneficial for clients seeking to improve emotional resilience and relationship dynamics.

Ryne also integrates EMDR techniques, which are effective for trauma processing and reducing the impact of painful memories, allowing clients to experience relief and healing. Additionally, he incorporates tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients manage anxiety, regulate emotions, and develop healthier coping mechanisms.

As a queer, neurodivergent therapist who practices polyamory in his own relationships, Ryne offers an empathetic, non-judgmental space where clients can feel seen and heard. He believes in building authentic, therapeutic connections and encourages clients to be active participants in their healing journey. Outside of therapy, Ryne enjoys exploring the outdoors, watching movies, and diving into his passion for Marvel and comic books.
