Using Spruce Effectively

Ryne Evans

Good morning,

This post today is an update to using Spruce our phone system (interns, you can disregard this posting).

To help with workflows, as well as not doubling up on replies to clients who are messaging us, we are going to begin using the "Archive" functionality in Spruce. When a conversation is archived, it acts just like an email archive, and removes it from other people's inboxes (such as Ryan or I's inboxes; or in the case that we reply, your inbox). This is helpful for days that you are out of the office or unavailable, and either Ryan or I respond.

You may have also noticed that there are times that Ryan or I may "page" you in a conversation, letting you know that there is some follow up on your end. You can also page Ryan or I by clicking the "internal note" on the conversation, and then doing the '@' followed by 'Admin.' This will tag us both and we can follow up accordingly.

If there is something that is not specific to a client, but something that needs attention, you can go to the team communication, and start a conversation with "Admin" and start the conversation there.

As we adjust to the new phone system, please let me know if you have any questions or feedback.
